Hazrat Zubair (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) then said, \u201cI keep the names of the martyrs (of the Sahaabah) for my sons so that my sons may perhaps also be blessed with martyrdom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thus, Hazrat Zubair (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) named his son \u2018Abdullah after Hazrat \u2018Abdullah bin Jahsh (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in the battle of Uhud).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son Munzir after Hazrat Munzir bin \u2018Amr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in Biru Maoonah).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son \u2018Urwah after Hazrat \u2018Urwah bin Mas\u2018ood (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was killed by his people when he invited them to Islam).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son Hamzah after Hazrat Hamzah bin \u2018Abdil Muttalib (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in the battle of Uhud).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son Ja\u2019far after Hazrat Ja\u2019far bin Abi Taalib (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in the battle of Mu\u2019tah).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son Mus\u2018ab after Hazrat Mus\u2018ab bin \u2018Umair (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in the battle of Uhud).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son \u2018Ubaidah after Hazrat \u2018Ubaidah bin Haarith (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in the battle of Badr).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son Khaalid after Hazrat Khaalid bin Sa\u2018eed (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) (who was martyred in the battle of Marjus Safar or Ajnadeen).<\/p>\n<p>He named his son \u2018Amr after Hazrat \u2018Amr bin Sa\u2018eed bin \u2018Aas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) who was martyred in the Battle of Yarmuk.<\/p>\n<p><em>(Tabaqaat ibn Sa\u2019d 3\/74)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hazrat Zubair (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) once mentioned: \u201cIndeed, Talhah bin \u2018Ubaidillah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) keeps the names of the Ambiyaa (\u2018alaihimus salaam) for his children, whereas he knows that there will be no Nabi to come after Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam).
